As you can see from pictures, the train set was assembled and it does circle the 12 feet of track perfectly and sounds like a real train with lights. The smoking stack also works. Some decals will curl up at times but with a little glue that will resolve it. No broken pieces on tracks and are complete. The retail box is big so it wil be placed in a bigger box.
